I hope all of our USA members had a great and blessed Christmas!
Well I guess I lied, because last issue I said I probably would not
send out another issue before the new year. After taking a few days
off, I decided to shoot out a quick issue with a couple of resources,
plus my show with Becky Hagel and the interview with Willie Crawford,
and to wish you an upcoming successful year in 2005.
Now this time I can say for sure that you won't hear from me again until
NEXT year.
...grin...
I hope all of you have a very great and blessed New Years Day.
Ok, on with the Crazy Web Guy Notes & News.
:-)

Six Figure Income Interview With Willie Crawford
My good friend Willie Crawford and I did an interview. I quizzed Willie
on his success and what he feels is important to those wanting to make
a six figure income in their business. Obviously it targets those with
an online busines, but can also be applied to those that do business
offline as well.
The mp3 file of the interview is available in the members area:
http://crazywebguy.com/members/members.htm
user name: xxxxxxx
password: xxxxxxx
(all lower case letters)
Allow time for downloading if you don't have a high speed connetion.
The audio file is about 11+ meg.
Willie and I are finalizing the PDF transcript too, and I'll post it
in the member's area when it's finished and of course let you know.
But I did want to post the mp3 file since it's finished.
The online issues of the newsletter will not
have the user name and password posted. This will be sent out each month
via email.
So you need to sign-up to be a member/subscriber to get access to the
members area. If you are not a current subscriber.

Resources and Tools
MS Office/Word Clone and PDF Creators
Office suite of utilities similar to Microsoft's Office suite software.
But a whole lot cheaper.
#1 e-Press "EasyOffice+PDF"
There is a free download or you can order the suite on 2 CDs. I like
the fact that the EasyWord processor includes a PDF creator too.
Even though I have Adobe Acrobat Pro, for the price this software would
be hard to beat with the Office Word compatible editor and the PDF creator.
Looks like a real bargain at under $50.00. It includes an Excel compatible
spreadsheet app, EasyZip, EasyCalculator, and many more apps including
an email client similar to Outlook. Too many apps to list here so check
it out at their site:
http://www.e-press.com
Note the CDs do offer much more than the free downloads, be sure to
check the features that might not be included in the free download.
------------------------------------------
#2 602 PC Suite
Another similar alternative I found is at:
http://www.software602.com/products/pcs/
It has a free trial download, and includes Word doc file compatibility
and a PDF file converter too. This one also is priced at under $50.

Brain teaser and do we assume too much in our business?
Last issue I told you about this brain teaser.
http://www.oxfordstudent.com/funstuff/card.html
In case you didn't figure out how it works I told you I would tell you
how it chooses the correct card and removes it in this issue.
Actually it's not really choosing the right card, it is just showing
you another complete set of cards that are different from the original
set, which of course eliminates any of the cards you might choose.
Since they are all Jacks, Queens, Kings, etc. and they are black and
red, then it's easy to swap. There is no magic but instead the trick
is based upon our lack of observing the details and assuming too much.
We assume it removes our card, when it actually replaces all of them
minus one card to simulate removing a card.
Success Tip:
This is an example of how we sometimes look past the obvious. Sometimes
I think we assume the obvious too much, even in our business. As business
people we owe it to our customers to consider that they may not have
the same level of knowledge as we do.
I think sometimes we take for granted that our customers know how to
unzip files, or what an FTP program does, or how to transfer files using
an FTP program, when this may not be the case at all. Remember we all
started as complete beginners and had no knowledge of the many things
we take for granted now.
Try to remember this when you are communicating with your customers
or potential customers.

Crazy Web Guy Show Interview with Rebecca (Becky) Hagel
I had Becky on the show a few weeks back and finally got the interview
posted.
Yeah I know, it's about time I posted it...grin...
Listen is as she discusses her success and tips for improving your marketing
and business. That's the beauty of my "job" as a marketer,
especially doing interviews. I get to hear so many different ways that
people apply themselves to become successful.
Everyone has their own "style" that works best for them. Find
yours and work it to your fullest to become successful or even more
successful.
You can listen online here to the show with Becky:
http://www.CrazyWebGuy.com/becky-hagel.htm
Becky did a great job, and gave us some good tips and resources. It
was a pleasure having her on the show.
Also check out the details on Becky's upcoming Triple C Workshop for
improving your marketing and business:

I recorded all of the previoius workshop teleseminar sessions for Becky
and she had some great speakers and information that was presented.
I'll be one of the guest teleseminar speakers in Febuary so I hope you
will check out the details of the workshop and join us! The beauty of
this workshop is you never leave home.

Internet Marketing 101 - Joint Ventures
Well again this issue I want to leave you with an excerpt from one of
my previous teleseminars on Internet Marketing and this one had Stephen
Pierce, Marty Foley, Willie Crawford, Rick Beneteau, and Bob Silber.
It was a 90 mintute teleseminar on Internet Marketing.
Below is the excerpt, and Stephen Pierce is talking about joint ventures
in relation to the question one of the attendee's ask (This was Stephen's
very first teleseminar).
---------------------------------------------------
Question:
Is it worth taking the time in the JV approach to "tackle" many small
partners or could it be more profitable to try highly personalized offers
for a fewer bigger partners?
Stephen said:
"O.K. I am sure everybody has some information to give on that.
I think the first thing when it comes to approaching or just the whole
idea of just going for JV Partner is having your mind right.
That begins with understanding the profit cycle that every business,
or rather... their large or small marginal line, that there as a profit...
has a cycle where they have to continue to move their products or services
to their customer base to keep their profits flowing and keep those
profits growing.
Either they are creating those products or services in house or they
are looking for products outside of themselves and that is where the
JV partners come in and that is where they look for affiliate programs
to join.
They need you, they need what you have as long as what you have is original
and it offers true value and is something that their customer base can
benefit from. But the idea of a big JV opposed to a small JV, there
is a big difference between a big name and a big list and there is a
big difference between a list and a responsive list.
I have seen small lists out pull big lists and I have seen basically
people with no name and a medium size list outpull people with a big
name and a very large list. So, I mean your legs carry you but it would
really suck to not have your thumbs.
Basically what I am saying is everything has its part. You want your
legs and you want your thumbs. You want the big JV Partners and you
want the small JV Partners so the idea is to go for them all.
Find the people in your market from your searching or you’re own research
that you want to target and then you can put those into a list of priorities
that you want to go for. Let’s just say that you want to go for the
big partners that is fine just because other people are viying for their
attention and mind share and trying to get these partnerships going
so they can make money.
Think outside of the box and kinda be creative, maybe buy their product
to try to get closer to them or sign up for their service to get closer
to them. And if you are not new and have your own list and it matches
their market place, and you just came out with a new product that you
want to JV with them, then join their affiliate program if they have
one and market their product to your list and put some money in their
pocket.
And then kind of approach them, kind of set yourself up where they will
want to pay a little bit of attention to you because you have spent
money with them or you help them to make some money.
And kind of think outside of the box everybody is approachable and nobody
is unreachable. It doesn’t matter how busy they are how big their name
may be you have to go for it. If the deal is going to be landed you
have to go for it. If you get a no, that's fine it is par for the course.
Not everybody is going to say yes.
But if your product is solid and it offers true value, I mean go for
it. Have confidence in your product, approach them, and know that you
are approaching them because you have something that will help benefit
them and you have something that will help benefit their list.
If you can approach them with that level of confidence, there is no
problem, it doesn’t matter who else is trying to get their attention
because you have something that you know for an absolute fact that they
can benefit from and their list can benefit from. But I am sure someone
else will want to add to that."
