I hope y'all are
doing great this week. :-)
Haven't written
in several weeks, but I was out of town part
of last month (July), as well I have just taken some time off
to enjoy the summer and re-generate. We also had a visit from
our daughter and her husband, hard to believe they have been
married a year last month. Wow am I getting old or what.
Also I had a few
people email they didn't get the last issue,
if you didn't get an issue (in July) please email me and let
me know. Geeesh these filters and spam blocks are getting
terrible. I hope also to be posting the newsletter online
starting next week in order to help fight the growing problem
of receiving it. I also plan on getting back to more of a
regular publishing schedule as well.
I'll also be scheduling
new f-ree teleseminars and Crazy Web
Guy shows again as well so stay subscribed for those
announcements as well.

Plus last but not
least, at some point the Crazy Web Guy site
may become a membership site. What that would mean is that
those people who are current members (subscribers) will get
free membership into the site, but any newcomers will have to
pay to join the site once it becomes a true membership site.
This will probably
take place in September sometime or there
abouts. Once that happens I'll be adding lots of new content,
articles, and other resources that will be available to the
members. Another reason to hang with me as I get re-vamped and
charged up for the future.

Handy Keyword Utility
Tools
Tool #1
Shows both wordtracker and overture results on the same page.
Plus it makes additional suggestions for other keywords. I
used it and immediately found some additional keywords I
wasn't targeting.
Great little tool
to help you when doing research on keywords
for your search enginze opitimazion and especially if you use
Google Adwords.

This site shows
the top 15 terms related to a keyword or
keywords that you type in. It returns the number of pages,
searches, ratio, and other vital stats.
The interesting
thing is it is powered by Google and
Word Tracker which should make for very good stats.
Definitely check
this site out when doing keyword
research.

Getting Back To
Basics

"Get Off That Flat Spot Called A Behind And Just Do It."

The event I'll
be talking about later will make this issue of
the newsletter pretty large but it is that very reason for me
getting off my behind and to get back started sending out the
newsletter regularly and the reason for my ramblings or as I
call it an "article" today.
You know it's funny
how we many times assume things and we
fall into a pattern. Sometimes it's unknowingly, as in my
case, I didn't realize it had been so long since I had
published this newsletter.
Heck many of you
may not even remember me...grin... but yep
I'm still the Crazy Web Guy, you can ask my wife, she will
vouch for that. I also want to welcome the many new
subscribers that have joined up the past several weeks.
Anyway don't let
yourself fall into this pattern that I did.
Your internet business is just that "A Business" and you need
to treat it as such.
Yes I have continued
to generate income from my business but
it has fallen off some due to my "lack of interest" lately.
Hey folks I'm just
being honest here, I'm a business person
but I'm also a human who makes mistakes, gets lazy, has
downside moments or days, hmmm maybe that's called the
"blues".
Hey Doc how about
a pre..scription for some medicine
here...grin... only kidding.
So to all of you
humans out there, we internet marketers are
humans too, and not internet marketing machines or robots. We
all have our moments and days of success but we also have our
moments of despair, and we have many projects that just plain
fail. It happens to the best of everybody.
Ok, so anyway,
I got this course I'll tell you about later,
and as I dove into the material it made me realize:
1. How lazy or
lethargic I had become.
2. It made me realize
I wasn't treating my business as much
like a business as I use to or that I should.
3. It also made
me realize my business wasn't growing as fast
as it used to.
4. It made me realize
I needed to get back to the basics,
which I had gotten away from.
Hmmm, do you see
the pattern here???
So if you are in
that group right now that feels like their
business isn't going anywhere then re-evaluate your business,
your situation and your daily routine.
Are you treating
your business like a business? Are you doing
all the basics such as:
Networking with
people, reading and educating yourself, and of
course taking time to market your business (last but
certainly not least)?
Are you running
tests on your products, tracking and testing
ads, building your customer lists and opt-in lists? Are you
striving (testing) to get the best conversion from your sales
material?
ORRR, are you just
sitting by saying "Why isn't my business
growing?" and reading and deleting email all day long, playing
solitaire on the computer and in general just looking busy in
your business.
In summary, make
a todo list with your important tasks, cross
off each task as you complete it. Concentrate on income
producing tasks first, then move to the less important tasks.
Re-generate your
love for your business through reading new
materials and getting new ideas, and last but not least, take
time off to spend with your family and time for yourself.
In other words
get off that flat spot and just do it.

go with another neat tip;

Cool tip:
I can't remember
where I saw this neat little trick but
anyway, if you are expecting a package from FedEx or UPS, did
you know you can type in the tracking number into Google's
search window, and bingo it will show a link to track the
package.
Click on the link
and it pops up either the UPS or FedEx site
with the tracking details. Saves a lot time going to the
shipper's site and then keying in the tracking number. Much
less having to find how to get to their site. :-)

Now time for a
word about the course...
This is about the
course that I keep mentioning so read
on... it could change the way you work and run your business.
It has mine at a time when I really needed it.
You have seen the
commercials most likely where the
stockbroker whispers something to someone in the the cafe and
everybody stops and leans over to listen. This was a very
popular commercial even though I can't rember the name of the
company. I think it was "When Smith Barney Talks, everyone
listens" or something to that effect.
Well that's how
it is with John Reese. I remember when I first
saw him in 2002 at a teleseminar I was speaking at held by
Willie Crawford. I ask someone who he was and they said John
Reese. Little did I know "then" that when John talks people
listen. As the seminar progressed I wanted to have more time
to talk to John however he was always surrounded by people!
You see John had been quietly making a fortune in the
background and until recently had chosen to remain there.
Since that time
I have followed John and his tips, newsletters
and advice. Even his newsletters are more like an ebook he
could sell instead of just a newsletter. He even puts them in

Course and all I can say is WOW. I spent the better part of 2
days watching the 7 DVDs and then listening and watching the 6
multimedia CDs. The box must have weighed 10 pounds with the
DVDs, CDs and 3 huge books.
Again WOW, this
course is great.
A few months ago
John had a seminar himself down in Florida.
It was almost $5,000 a pop and he had all the people he wanted
to attend. There were many successful marketers that attended
and that's the great thing about these DVDs, they are
excerpts from that seminar. John had many of the successful
marketers there spill the beans on many of the things they do
that are successful for them. Some great inside information
was revealed by these marketers. John literally twisted their
arms...grin... not to mention all the many things he revealed

be (I think) the product of the year.
